The editorial staff of the catalogues Best Cats of Russia and Best Dogs of Russia continues recruiting participants for the editions according to the results of 2007. These annual catalogues present the cats and dogs, which are the winners of the international and Russian championships and shows.

Also the editions contain articles about various breeds and methods of pet grooming and trimming. There are advertising of foods, accessories, veterinary preparations and hygiene products. We invite advertisers to take part in these projects.

On the 1st of August the All-Russia Exhibition Centre celebrates its 68 birthday.
The main exhibition place of our country was built for the All-Union Exhibition of Agriculture, where the union republics demonstrated the achievements of agriculture. The exhibition started on 1 August 1939. Thousands of collective farms, state farms and scientific institutions fought for the participation in it.

The area of the exhibition covered 136 hectares. There were ponds, gardens, experimental grounds and 250 buildings. There were the pavilions of the republics, territories and regions on the All-Union Exhibition of Agriculture area, the guests visiting them can travel about the enormous Motherland.

In 1941 the work of the exhibition was interrupted and recommenced on 1 August 1954.

In 1956 the All-Union Industrial Exhibition started on the territory of All-Union Exhibition of Agriculture. The main aim of this exhibition was demonstration of the industry achievements.

In 1958 the agricultural, industrial and building exhibitions were consolidated into the All-Union Exhibition of People's Economic Achievements USSR.

In 1992 the All-Union Exhibition of People's Economic Achievements USSR was renamed into the State Joint-stock Company “All-Russia Exhibition Center” by Decree of the RF President and Regulation of the RF Government. Today the All-Russia Exhibition Centre is the member of the Union of exhibitions and fairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Baltic countries, the member of the Union of International Fairs. This exhibition centre is still the largest and most favourite for the Muscovites.

The entertaining programme of the ZooRus-2007 exhibition also presents the Championship of the trimmed Yorkshire dogs-champions.
This unique and surprising show takes place for the first time in Russia. The Yorkshires’ trims will be estimated by the professionals.
The competition of stylists and dress designers will take place during the Championship. The Championship is held on 7 April 2007, pavilion № 69 of the All-Russia exhibition centre, from 12.00 till 15.00 p.m.
